Mark Pestana, Colonel, USAF Retired, is a consulting research pilot and systems engineer. In the USAF, Mark served in NORAD and the DOD Space Shuttle Program as a space operations officer. A rated Command Pilot, he’s flown over 5000 hours in over 30 aircraft types, and logged 213 combat intelligence missions. He reveals a declassified history of Top Secret reconnaissance aircraft and missions flown during the Cold War, 1947-1991. Over forty aircraft were shot down with over 140 airmen lost.
