The Consolidated B-24M Liberator -- Over 18,000 were built from 1939-1945. Only about 10 remain and only one of those is flying. Your membership will help us maintain this and the other 50 aircraft. That maintenance becomes more expensive each year as the aircraft age. The museum's income depends on maintaining and expanding our membership and attendance. Additional funds come from fund-raising events. As mentioned earlier, we receive no financial support from the U.S. Air Force Museum, who own most of the aircraft. We urge you to join us in preserving and displaying our collection of historic airplanes.
The Castle Air Museum is chartered by the Department of Education and operated by the Castle Air Museum Foundation, Inc., a private not-for-profit corporation,
tax-exempt under IRS Code 501 (c)(3). The mission of the Museum is to preserve military aviation history for future generations.
