The Cessna U-3 Administrator is a version of the Cessna 310 civilian aircraft. Designated the L-27 until 1962, the U-3 was more commonly called the "Blue Canoe" or "Bluebird" for its blue and white color scheme. It was used for executive transportation, liaison duties, and to haul light cargo between military bases.

The aircraft on display at Castle Air Museum served at Edwards AFB in southern California.
